Samuel Giveson, popularly known as "SMJ," is a Nigerian gospel music producer, music director, and multi-instrumentalist who specializes in Christ-centered sounds and innovative gospel music. He is widely known in Nigerian contemporary gospel music as a keyboardist, music director, and award-winning producer. SMJ has served as music director and producer for Tim Godfrey and The Xtreme Crew.
SMJ began his musical journey at age 5, when he picked up the keyboard after developing an interest in it at church. His excellence and dedication have earned him multiple industry awards and recognitions across the gospel and Afro-contemporary space.
SMJ is also the convener of The Outsider by SMJ, a Christ-centered worship experience focused on excellence in sound and ministry. His style spans gospel and contemporary sounds, with a strong creative vision and a reputation for dynamic praise medleys and powerful collaborative projects.
