Romeo Oriogun
Romeo Oriogun is the author of Sacrament of Bodies (APBF and University of Nebraska Press). His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Prairie Schooner, Bayou Magazine, American Poetry Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, Harvard Review, Narrative Magazine, Brittle Paper, and others. He is the 2017 winner of the Brunel International African Poetry Prize and has received fellowships from the Ebedi International Residency, Harvard University Department of English, Oregon Institute for Creative Research and The Hutchins Center for African and African American Research. He currently lives in Iowa where he is an MFA candidate for poetry at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
