Ashley Okoli is a 28-year-old Nigerian model, stylist, filmmaker, and creative director. Her journey into the fashion industry and the creative space began almost a decade ago, after she dropped out of medical school.
Ashley is one of the biggest faces of the Alté scene in Nigeria and has carved out a niche for herself by making fashion choices that are uniquely her and eccentric, so as not to conform to societal fashion expectations. In all her years as a model and stylist, Ashley has worked with and been featured by international and Nigerian fashion magazines such as Victoria’s Secret, Vogue, Farfetch, and Okay Africa.
In 2022, she was interviewed by Vogue for their ‘YouthQuake’ project, where she was highlighted for her role in redefining Lagos’s coolest subculture, the Alté scene.
In 2023, Ashley Okoli was commissioned by Victoria’s Secret to reimagine its iconic runway show through her own stories, incorporating her style and culture as an Igbo woman. In 2026, she released an 80-page photobook of her art, styling, and creative direction. She also worked with Nigerian brand “Hertunba” as one of their muses this year.
