Hannatu Musa Musawa is a Nigerian lawyer, politician and author who currently serves as the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, a position she has held since 2023. Although Hannatu has worked across diverse sectors, she began her career in law, working as a lawyer for private companies, providing legal counsel and representation on various matters; she has also specialised in marine affairs and oil and gas law.

Hannatu Musawa entered politics as a special adviser on culture and the entertainment economy for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In 2023, he appointed her Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, a role that enables her to oversee the promotion and development of Nigeria's creative sector, as well as the preservation and display of the country's cultural heritage.

She has been involved in political affairs in the country both as an activist and as a candidate and has contested for a legislative seat in the federal House of Representatives, aiming to serve her constituency and the public.
