Mariam Abiola Afolabi started her journey with an interest in art. The designer who’s the mastermind behind Mazelle Studio initially studied law and moved back to Nigeria afterwards to focus on her fashion brand. She is admired for her womenswear label, Mazelle Studio. The brand's signature use of Adire mix and sharp silhouettes are oftentimes met with sequins, shimmer, femme-inspired fabric, and clever use of embellishments delicately hand-beaded unto quality fabrics.
