Jumoke Oduwole

Jumoke is an accomplished international lawyer, academician and former investment banker. She was the holder of the Prince Claus Professorial Chair in Development and Equity at the Institute of Social Studies of the Erasmus University in The Netherlands, between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2015. The Prince Claus Chair is a visiting Professorial Chair in Development and Equity established in honour of the late Prince Claus of The Netherlands by the Curatorium, chaired by H.R.H Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. Having previously served as an in-house lawyer with one of Nigeria’s most prestigious banking groups, Jumoke is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Nigeria’s foremost University – UNILAG where she has taught since 2004. She is widely known within the academic, private and public sectors for the scope of her experience and for her personable and resolutely practical manner.
