Firstklaz

Justice Esla Joseph, professionally known as “Firstklaz,” is a Nigerian songwriter and singer known for his unique Gen-Z Fuji and Afrobeat sound. The 26-year-old began singing at age 10 in church but only debuted in the music industry in 2021, when he was still figuring out his sound; however, it is now very clear that his sound is woven with Nigerian nostalgia and cultural influences.

In 2024, he cemented his status as a vibrant Afrobeats artist with his Gen-Z Fuji record and its sequel featuring Terry Apala, as well as a record with Joeboy, which helped him secure a mainstream audience.

Firstklaz has received co-signs from artists like Olamide, Mr Eazi, and Odumodublvck, among others, and has continued to grow in his career as a diverse-genre artist (Afrobeats, Fuji, R&B, and indigenous Northern/Arewa sounds).
