Description
The sacred altar, a six foot gully that takes people to the temple and the waterfall in Arochukwu Long Juju Slave route, beg tourists to explore the main oracular shrine of Ibn Ukpabi and the cult monument of Kamula, 'the warrior god'. The site also contains an altar which is the kitchen area, a waterfall which loud sound from afar is ascribed to be the voice of Ibn Ukpabi. There is an aura of trial and judgement at the grove - there is a throne of judgement that accused persons are made to pass through, dark tunnels from which only innocents can return, a hill of rags and a red river where the condemned are believed to have perished to pay for their crimes.
